Nokia N71

Nokia N71 is the second phone in its N series after the successful launch of Nokia N90. It will be unfair to do a comparison of Nokia N90 and Nokia N71 as they both have their features to make them special in their own ways.

Nokia N 71 is a smart looking sophisticated flip phone which has the display on outside with a 2 mega pixel camera and one OK button at the bottom and believe me its just one button which will perform the ok, Silent mode and snooze mode. Unlike other phones its power button is again at the bottom of cell and it doesn't show itself as the power functional unit rather gives the feel of a small smart screw been installed in the cell.

This cell is bundled with few features that make this handset special in its way, as it is blessed with a very melodious music play back and Dual cameras with 2.0-megapixel, 20x zoom, video(CIF), flash and video recorder with advanced camera modes like the still, sequence, and video on the flip.

It also gives its user the facility to send and receive SMS, MMS, Email, and Instant Messaging. It provides excellent and convenient connectivity with the Bluetooth, Infra Red and USB. It comes with a default internal memory of 10 MB and since this may be bit smaller of the space it also provides the feature of a miniSD memory card slot.

It has a multimedia key at the top of the number pad area which takes us quickly to FM radio, Music player, web and our photos. We also have the choice of listening to the MP3, WMA or the AAC in this phone.

It attracts the users with its vast entertaining Web browsing capability as it also has a very high resolution color display which makes browsing more of a fun at its own comfort as we can easily browse the web pages and can easily navigate in all its corners and ends too.

Nokia declares its talk time to be around 4 hours with a standby time of up to 9 days.

In a nutshell Nokia N71 justifies its association with Nokia brand as it is bundled with user friendly features being used and accepted by user of age.

The Difference Between Domestic and International Mobile Phone Service

As the world community continues to integrate, international travel becomes more and more common. This raises the subject of the difference between international and domestic mobile phone services.

Some people argue that international cell phones are just a better deal, while some people strongly believe that domestic cell phones really make the most sense. So, when it comes down to it, which side is correct? Realistically, the type of cell phone that you purchase should really depend upon the type of person that you are. Aside from the various colors and fancy functions that go along with cell phones today, ask yourself whether or not you plan to travel.

International cell phones can be used from within other countries, but domestic phones require a special card in order to work from outside of the United States. Also, you should also be aware that most US cell phones will not work within other countries, but this is something that should be confirmed with your cell phone provider prior to travel. If you want to travel internationally, you will need to purchase a GSM phone, which will allow you to dial any number within the GSM network for a very small price.

A few years ago, having a GSM phone while inside of the United States was relatively useless, but a few companies have recently jumped on the GSM bandwagon, which makes an international phone a good idea. In fact, many people are starting to wonder why a person would have a domestic phone at all. Even if you aren't planning on traveling internationally, merely keeping an international cell phone on hand is a good idea. When you start to think about it, the debate between international cell phones vs. domestic cell phones is really no contest at all.

GSM users have the ability to switch carries without requiring a separate phone. Since GSM is the most popular form of cell phone throughout the world, you will be able to talk in nearly every country on the planet without worrying about changing carriers. In short, a GSM phone will make your life a whole lot easier should you venture into another country.

There are many advantages to having an international cell phone, but domestic cell phones really only work within the United States. Since most of the world currently uses the GSM cell phone network, for most people an international phone is just a better buy. When it comes to the debate between international cell phones vs. domestic cell phones, you should consider where you plan to travel and the price that you want to pay for your service. Even if you don't plan to travel internationally now, you never know what may happen in the future.
